Mitt Romney appeared on CNN this morning andGloria Borger confronted him about why he wasn’t so anti-Donald Trump when he sought out his endorsement in 2012.
Romney made a big speech last week asking Republicans to reject Trump, but last time around, Trump was raising questions aboutPresident Obama‘s citizenship and Romney raised no objections.
So Borger asked him why, if Trump’s racist rhetoric offends him this time, he was okay with embracing a birther four years ago.
