The new Windows Store has storefronts for both consumers and organizations, with new promotional surfaces to help people discover and acquire content. This approach is beginning to gain traction with 3 billion visits to the new Store and more universal apps becoming available for Windows 10, including Netflix, NPR, Pandora, Shazam, TuneIn Radio, Twitter, Uber, Wall Street Journal, 1-800-Flowers, and more. Top developers are also releasing new games to the Windows Store including Minecraft: Story Mode – a Telltale Game Series and World of Tanks Blitz, with more new titles coming in early 2016, such as Rise of the Tomb Raider. Three reasons to hold off on Windows 10

The release of Windows 10 is just around the corner. The operating system will be available as a free update to Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 users on July 29.

There’s a lot to be excited about with Windows 10. The update adds numerous improvements to the operating system, such as the Cortana voice assistant, DirectX 12, Xbox One game streaming and of course, the return of the Start button. Not to mention a handful of bug fixes and security enhancements, too.

While these features may sound great, there are a few reasons why you may not want to hold off on upgrading right away. Here’s why:

Windows 10 or OS X? A Mac User Falls For the PC Again

You can blame Vista and the constant pounding of Ctrl+Alt+Del that came with it. Or you can blame those clever Mac vs. PC ads. But about eight years ago, after growing up with Windows computers and countless games of “Solitaire,” I bought my first Mac. And I never looked back.

Until now.

I’ve spent the past month solely using Windows 10, and I’ve fallen in love with Windows again. In fact, I’ve rarely missed Mac OS X. I’m more productive and faster at handling my many open windows on Microsoft’s latest than on Apple’s. If you had told me a year ago that I’d write those words, I’d have said you’re on some mind-altering drug.
