BEYONCE INVOKES ‘URBAN TERRORISM’ IN NEW VIDEO

beyonce-2-bat

In a video for “Hold up,” the controversial star – whom Obama once labeled a great “role model” for children – destroys businesses, smashes car windows and sets off explosions as kids cheer on in support.

The music star has previously been accused of using her songs, videos and performances as veiled encouragements of unlawful violence, with many asserting her latest super bowl half time show purposely portrayed police in a negative light.

Earlier this year, several law enforcement entities called on agencies across the country to boycott the star following release of the video for her song “Formation,” which some have called a “black power anthem and call to arms,” and its subsequent performance featuring militant Black Panthers at Super Bowl 50.

MINN. LAWMAKERS TO DISCUSS CONTROVERSIAL BATHROOM BILL

trans-bathroom-restroom-gender

The legislation is similar to what’s now law in North Carolina.

The Minnesota House bill states that “restrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms and other similar places, which shall remain reserved for males or females as they are biologically defined.”

The actual language of the bill defines “a person’s sex is either male or female as biologically defined.” Transgender people said gender is only “assigned” at birth but can change over a person’s life.

he Justice Department had previously withheld thousands of pages of documents from the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee about the scandal. Key Pentagon personnel official stepping down

The architect of controversial Pentagon personnel policies, including the proposed acceptance of transgender troops, will leave his post in April, the Pentagon announced late Monday.

Brad Carson, the Pentagon’s top civilian for personnel policies, had pushed forward a string of initiatives that include opening combat jobs to women and expanded maternity leave.

“Brad Carson has developed some of the most important and groundbreaking work in years to modernize our personnel policies,” Defense Secretary Ash Carter said in a statement. “At my direction, he charted a path forward for the Department and our people that will leave a lasting legacy, and will improve the mission effectiveness, readiness and the quality of life for our civilian workforce, uniformed service members and families.

Carson had a rocky confirmation hearing last month before the Senate Armed Services Committee. He had been named to fill the spot as undersecretary for personnel on an acting basis. But a federal court determined that in performing the job before confirmation, he had violated federal law, namely the Vacancies Act.

In a statement, Carson said the Senate’s concerns about the Vacancies Act and the implementation of several key policies prompted his decision to step down. He plans to leave office in April.

NO CHARGES AGAINST COP INVOLVED IN CONTROVERSIAL SHOOTING OF TEEN

102815policeshootingscOfficer Tiller then ran up to the teen’s car with his gun drawn, to which Hammond responded by trying to drive away.

That’s when Tiller unloaded on the teen at near point-blank range.

The officer later said he shot Hammond because he felt threatened.

Morton, who was the target of the police investigation, was only charged with simple possession of marijuana.

Hammond’s family has since filed a federal lawsuit disputing the officer’s claim that he was acting in self-defense, stating that because Hammond was shot in the side and back, he wasn’t an immediate threat to the officer.
