ISIS JIHADIST ALLOWED TO SPEW HATE ON TWITTER FOR 6 MONTHS WITHOUT BEING BANNED

Jihadi bride” Sally Jones, also known as “Mrs. Terror” was back in the news again today after threatening ISIS attacks in London, Glasgow and other UK cities this summer.

“To be honest I wouldn’t go into Central London through June … or even July well to be honest I wouldn’t go there at all especially by Tube,” tweeted Jones, following another tweet that simply said “ENGLAND ——–> BOOM”.

Despite the fact that the tweets were made yesterday, Jones is still active on Twitter. In fact, she has been active since November 2015 despite a number of overt threats.

Jones keeps deleting her tweets and de-activating her account to avoid being banned, but she remains active over three weeks after tweeting support for ISIS.

“U can’t just sit there with ur tea & scones ordering RAF drone strikes on UK brothers with no comeback from the Islamic state,” she tweeted on the 3rd of May.

America Can’t Do Much About ISIS

In 2003, David Petraeus, then a division commander in Iraq, famously asked “tell me how this ends?” in reference to the conflict just starting there. It was a good question then, and it’s a good question now. The war against the Islamic State gets a lot of attention, much of it focused on the immediate: Is the war going better or worse this month than last month? Is the Islamic State gaining ground or losing it? Are U.S. air strikes killing more Islamic State leaders or fewer? But these things only matter if they contribute to an ultimate end to the conflict on terms the United States can live with. Will they?

In fact, we have a lot of evidence on wars like this and how they typically end. But it’s not a very encouraging story. The Islamic State threat is likely to persist, in one form or another, for a long time. In the meantime, we’re going to be stuck with a policy that amounts to containment and damage limitation, whose shortcomings will frustrate many Americans.

Police at Brussels airport have claimed at least 50 Islamic State supporters are working there as baggage handlers, cleaners and catering staff.

In an astonishing open letter, the officers said they have warned about the terrorist sympathisers whose security badges give them access to planes, but they remain employed.

The airport police, who are threatening to go on strike because of security deficiencies, also said they have raised the issue of terrorists scouting the airport to plan possible attacks.

The extraordinary claims come after the Mail reported how the family of two of the bombers involved in the attacks last week said they had worked as cleaners at the airport.

‘Some people suspected of having fought in Syria came to the airport as “false tourists”. We reported their presence but we do not know if anything was done with that information,’ the airport police wrote in their letter.

I am sure a frightened population will find government promises of perfect security attractive and may be willing to allow more surveillance of their personal lives. They should pause a little beforehand and consider what their governments have done so far to keep them “safe.”
