Morgan Freeman’s Step-Granddaughter Brutally Stabbed To Death In NYC
E’Dena Hines tragically passed away on Aug. 16 after suffering multiple stab wounds. The step-granddaughter of Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman, 77, was discovered bleeding outside of her New York City home. So unbelievably sad.
E’Dena was found lying in the street outside of her home on the 400 block block of W. 162nd Street at 3am, according to People. Responding officers noted that she suffered multiple stab wounds to her torso. She was then rushed to Harlem Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene after being found kneeling over E’Dena, according to Us Weekly. He was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and is reported to be undergoing psychiatric evaluation. The investigation into this tragic event remains ongoing.
