Griffin, who recently received immense backlash after posing with a decapitated head resembling Trump, attempted to shift the blame onto the First Family for her distasteful decision.

Tensions rise at CNN as the network aims for Trump

CNN is taking an increasingly negative approach toward its coverage of President-elect Trump, causing at least some tension within the network, inside sources told the Washington Examiner.

Trump, according to a New York Post story, told the network he wasn’t happy with their coverage during an off-the-record meeting at his headquarters in Trump Tower this week. Trump critiqued the news media at large during the meeting, but CNN was one of the top targets, according to the Post’s report.

Though Trump’s team has said the meeting wasn’t as tense as the Post’s report, two high-level sources at CNN confirmed that their network was a primary target of the president-elect.

“CNN has always pledged to hold Trump accountable and that’s what we should be doing,” another source told the Examiner. “Since the election, CNN has out MSNBCed MSNBC,” the source said, referring to the liberal slant at CNN’s competitor. “In the long term, that’s a dangerous place to be.”

FAKE NEWS SITE CNN COMPLETELY MISREPRESENTS QUOTE, REST OF LYING MEDIA RUNS WITH IT

 

CNN made a false claim Monday afternoon and various journalists ran wild with it.

It all started with a segment on CNN’s The Lead which quoted prominent white nationalist figure Richard Spencer as wondering if Jews were actually people. CNN host Jim Sciutto said, “of Jews Spencer said, ‘one wonders if these people are people at all, or instead soulless golem.’”

“That is an alt right leader Richard Spencer talking about Jews,” Sciutto added. CNN then had a panel with RealClearPolitics’ Rebecca Berg and The Boston Globe’s Matt Viser with the chyron “ALT-RIGHT FOUNDER QUESTIONS IF JEWS ARE PEOPLE.”

Except, Spencer did not make those remarks about Jews and was instead talking about political consultants on television.

Trump Did BETTER Than Romney Among Hispanics, And Blacks

Despite widespread predictions that a wave of Hispanics would defeat him, exit poll data indicates that president-elect Donald Trump did better with Hispanics than Mitt Romney did in 2012.

According to exit poll data collected by CNN, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton defeated Trump among Hispanics at 65 percent to 29 percent. While that’s a big margin, it’s smaller than the one Barack Obama won by in 2012. He defeated Mitt Romney among Hispanics 71 percent to 27 percent.

CNN FREAKS OUT OVER ALEX JONES, ROGER STONE PLAN TO ASSEMBLE AT REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION

CNN GIVES AIRTIME TO GUY WHO ADMITTED HE WANTED TO MURDER TRUMP

Thomas Pianissimo, the guy who jumped the security fence and got close to Trump before being apprehended, had declared on Twitter that he wanted to “be a martyr” and posted an emoji of gun.

“I was thinking that I could get up on stage and take his podium away from him and take his mic away from him and send a message to all people out in the country who wouldn’t consider themselves racist, who wouldn’t consider themselves approving of what type of violence Donald Trump is allowing in his rallies, and send them a message that we can be strong, that we can find our strength and we can stand up against Donald Trump and against this new wave he’s ushering in of truly just violent white supremacist ideas,” DiMassimo frothed.

“I was thinking that Donald Trump is a bully, and he is nothing more than that,” DiMassimo said. “He is somebody who is just saying a lot of bold things, he’s making bold claims. But I can see right through that and I can see that he’s truly just a coward. And he’s opportunistic and he’s willing to destroy this country for power for himself.”
