Want to know what dying’s REALLY like? Try the ‘death simulator’ that lets you ‘experience’ passing away and being cremated

The Samadhi Death Simulator is in Shanghai, China, and as they travel through it people find out what death, cremation and rebirth feels like.

To start, people lie down on a giant revolving belt, which takes them through an oven.

This is the cremation part of the process, after which they find themselves in a huge area made from latex.

Pushing their way through this, as if emerging from a womb, they find themselves in a ball pool.

Visitor Lu Siwei, 33, said: “This is a really interesting feeling.

“It at least gives you the chance to calm down, and brings you back to earth to think about some of life’s problems.

“I think this (feeling) is different.

“When you walk through that door, you will experience some changes in your mentality, and it will be different from what it was before you entered.

“I think this is really great, and very worthwhile.”
