Data compiled by mobile engagement platform Localytics gives us a look at the breakdown of different devices within the iPhone and iPad ecosystem, and offer us an insight of how Apple’s upcoming devices might fare.

After plowing through data for 100 million iPhones, the company found that the most popular iPhone is the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, capturing 32 percent of the market share, followed by the 4-inch iPhone 5S with 19 percent of the usage share. Third on the list with 12 percent is the iPhone 6S. It’s not until we reach fourth place do we hit the iPhone 6 Plus, with a market share of only 10 percent.

More than 40 percent of the iPhones have a 4-inch display, and that’s an indicator that users are still happy using a small iPhone (or maybe it’s that they want a cheap iPhone, and the small is just a side-effect).
