Trump now has 1,238 delegates, one more than he needed to clinch the nomination, and with 303 delegates still remaining at five state primaries scheduled for June 7, the mogul will avoid a contested GOP convention.
“I think he has touched a part of our electorate that doesn’t like where our country is,” one of the unbound delegates, Oklahoma GOP chairperson Pam Pollard, told the AP. “I have no problem supporting Mr. Trump.”
In April, Infowars reported that Trump had a 97% chance of securing the nomination before the convention.
Trump, who grew increasingly disgusted by the globalist takeover of the U.S., won the nomination by channeling voter rage brewing before he even announced his candidacy on June 16, 2015.
