OnePlus promised it would launch an “improved version” of the invite system for the OnePlus 2, but don’t get your hopes up just yet. Even though the phone sounds like a good deal for the price, you’ll still have to sign up for an invite before you can actually buy the phone. There will be nine “pop up experience” centers starting July 31 where fans can sign up, but if you can’t make one of those, you’re stuck with the OnePlus forums or the company’s social media channels to score an invite.
