New Yorkers who use wheelchairs are being left behind when it comes to accessible cabs as City Hall as officials seek to reform the for-hire-vehicle business, activists say.

Advocates from the Taxis For All Campaign and the United Spinal Association will rally on the steps of City Hall on Tuesday to press for policies that close the accessibility gap in the taxi industry.

Mayor de Blasio’s report on the for-hire-vehicle industry released Friday was particularly light on details about how to get black cars, such as Uber and Lyft, to use accessible vehicles, despite months of public comments from his office that it would be addressed.
