In the midst of his presidential campaign, Donald Trump, 69, managed to find some time to share his thoughts on supermodel, Heidi Klum, 42, and her looks. One would think there would be bigger issues the candidate would want to use his platform for, but, alas, that clearly isn’t the case — instead, he put his sexist views on display. Not only did Heidi handle the ridiculous situation with grace and ease, quickly turning the joke back around on Trump and totally trumping his irrelevant comments in a clever way, but she also rose above and used her platform to send a positive message — something the presidential candidate should start doing. Donald Trump, you could learn a lot from women — specifically from Heidi Klum and her response. It is about time you start to follow her lead.

Heidi Klum is more than just a former Victoria’s Secret Angel. She’s an extremely hard working mother-of-four and a business mogul, who has a hand in a variety of TV projects, endorsement deals and fashion lines — to put it simply, she’s more than just a pretty, (or, to Trump, not-as-pretty), face. “I was just making light of the situation because it was kind of funny I thought, and I just thought, make it even more funny. But really, the whole entire situation about women is not really funny, you know to put a number on a woman, especially women. We juggle so many things and I feel that, you know, women who support their families, who have children, who make their lunches, drive them all over the place, work at the same time, I mean, we do so many things, so in my book, every woman is a 10,” Heidi said, so eloquently, on Access Hollywood in response to the Trump situation. “Personally, I have no idea what I have to do with the election,” she added. “Why do I come into play with this election? Like that doesn’t make sense to me to be honest with you.”
