Was 2015 worse for the world than last year?

A new Associated Press-Times Square Alliance poll mass shootings and terror attacks weighed heavily on the minds of Americans in 2015, revealing that most polled believe this year was worse than 2014.

According to the poll, the most important events to Americans in the past year were the shootings in San Bernardino, California, as well as shootings in South Carolina, Oregon and Tennessee.

SAN BERNARDINO SHOOTING: WHAT THEY’RE NOT TELLING YOU

Who did the left rush to blame within minutes, before we knew anything about the shooters, before the bodies were even cold?

San Bernardino Shooting: What They’re NOT Telling You

Meet Syed Farook And Tashfeen Malik, The Husband And Wife San Bernardino Shooters

That’s the question Americans are asking themselves the morning after a husband and wife opened fire with assault rifles killing 14 and wounding 17 at a San Bernardino County employee holiday party.

The shooters, Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, and Tashfeen Malik, 27, left their young child with Farook’s mother in nearby Redlands on Wednesday morning before dressing in “assault clothing,” and crashing the party (literally). A subsequent shootout with authorities left both suspects dead.

Here’s what we know about Farook and Malik so far.

Farook, whose family was originally from Pakistan, was born in America and was employed as an environmental health specialist for San Bernardino County. He did what health specialists do: inspect restaurants and other facilities for health violations.

Prayer Shaming After a Mass Shooting in San Bernardino

California Shootings

Directly after a mass shooting, in the minutes or hours or days between the first trickle of news and when police find a suspect or make arrests, it is very difficult to know what to do. Some people demand political action, like greater gun control; others call for prayer. In the aftermath of a violent shooting spree in San Bernardino, California, on Wednesday, in which at least 14 victims are reported to have died, people with those differing reactions quickly turned against one another.

“We need a lot of people. Please come show your support for Roseburg, not the little man who has no respect for the Constitution,” states the page.
