The Republican, who won all five north-eastern primaries voting on Tuesday, said that his Democrat rival, who he is likely to square off against in November’s general election, had no qualifications to be president other than her sex.
“If Hillary Clinton were a man, I don’t think she’d get 5 percent of the vote,” he said at a press conference after his string of victories. “And the beautiful thing is, women don’t like her.”
The only thing Mrs Clinton had going for her was “the woman’s card”, Mr Trump said.
