We likely won’t hear anything official about the Apple iPhone 7 until at least September 2016 but that doesn’t mean the rumour mill isn’t already in high gear.
The latest whispers are all about the internal storage of the flagship device, which will likely have at least two variants when it arrives later in the year. Storage makers SanDisk have a tiny new module which includes a massive 256 gigs of flash memory and it could feature in the iPhone 7. The two companies have worked together before and being able to offer that kind of space will add a truly premium feature to the new handset, especially as Apple continues to refuse to include expandable microSD storage in their phones.
