WDBJ TV reporter Alison Parker, 24, and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, were shot and killedduring a live broadcast on Aug. 26. The primary suspect, Vester Flanagan, had previously worked at the news station using the on-air name Bryce Williams, before he was reportedly fired for undisclosed reasons. Hours after the shooting, a Twitter user believed to be Vester Tweeted that Alison had “made racist comments” and Adam had gone to human resources, after “working with [him] one time.” See the tweets.
